Born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, Rick Brown has deep roots in Madison County. You may recognize him from the athletic field where he was the vice president for the baseball and softball association and an official for football, basketball, and softball games around Indiana. Maybe you know him as the drummer for his church in Pendleton. Or maybe you met him as a special advocate to be a voice for children working through the court system.
Rick served as the Deputy Treasurer for Madison County from 2013 to 2015 where he helped the office modernize and become more responsive to community needs. When he was in the office, he learned every aspect of the office, oversaw all employees, and saw how the office could improve to serve taxpayers better.
Rick announced his candidacy for Madison County Treasurer because he feels an obligation to the office and the community to offer this experience. He's the only candidate who will rise above partisanship to make bold taxpayer-centric reforms.
